Pillars of Creation is an image taken by the Hubble Space Telescope in 1995 of dark tall plumes of interstellar gas and dust in the Eagle Nebula. The tallest pillar is several light years in height; over 20 trillion miles. They are almost 7,000 light years from Earth.
