The Butterfly Nebula is an image of a planetary nebula in the constellation Scorpius. It was taken by the Hubble Space Telescope in 2009. The image looks like a giant butterfly. The gasses in the nebula are moving at more than 600,000 miles an hour. The "butterfly" is approximately two light years across.
